Overview

Dallas has two light rail lines operated by DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit; http://www.dart.org, which also operates regional bus service), and a commuter rail line known as Trinity Railway Express; operated jointly by DART and the Ft. Worth transit authority. There is also a heritage streetcar line, MATA (McKinney Avenue Transit Authority; http://www.mata.org), whose operation is integrated with DART.
